Refund guarantee in case of flight cancellation/delay from ETI company provides for coverage of financial risks resulting from trip cancellation/delay.
It doesn't matter where you are travelling - to Europe, Asia, or to other countries, the insurance policy is valid all over the world. Insured flights are tracked automatically and you do not need to provide supporting documents in case of an insurance event. We will inform you about the insurance event occurrence and all you need is to indicate the card number to receive the compensation. The funds' transfer is very quick, you will get it even before you leave the airport.
And if the flight is cancelled, you will receive a refund from the airline and from the ETI insurance company.
How to get insurance?
You can buy insurance only when you buy a flight ticket. It will be offered on the Additional Services page. The policy price will be added to the total order amount.
After payment, you will receive two letters by email. One from Tickets.ua with an itinerary receipt for your flight, and the other from an insurance company with an insurance contract for your trip. The insurance policy will also be available in your account.

Refund terms:
- Compensation is made in case of changes in theflight number, departure time or date.
- If the trip consists of several segments (flights, transfers, etc.), the insurance coverage is valid for each segment separately from the date and time of departure of each segment and ends upon arrival to the destination.
- Compensation is made only if the carrier has made the decision of changes less than 24 hours before departure.
- The insurance contract can be concluded no more than 180 calendar days and no less than 24 hours before the travel date.
Funds are not reimbursed in the following cases:
- Cancellation of a trip on the initiative of the insured person.
- If the insured person is late for the plane, regardless of the reasons for such a delay.
- Cancellation of a trip due to bankruptcy or insolvency of the air carrier.
- If the insured has chosen a different flight.
- If, after receiving information about the flight delay, the insured person cancelled the flight.
- If the changes have been notified more than 24 hours in advance.
How to make a refund?
- Log in to the "My account" section and select the "My Orders" tab.
- Go to the "Insurance" section and select the insurance policy you want to refund.
- Enter the purchaser’s details and the details of the account to which the funds will be refunded.
- To confirm you request, click on the “Make a refund” button
Please note:
- Refund can be made no later than 48 hours before the flight.
- In case of involuntary refund (due to the fault of the airline) less than 48 hours before the flight, please contact our Customer Care Service to fill out an application.
- Upon return, the 35% commission of the insurance company ETI is withheld from the total amount of the insurance policy.
